I conduct so-called "TFP" ("Time for Pictures") or Test Shootings with people who are seriously interested in working as a photo model. The models do not receive money, but are paid in digital pictures (at least 20 fully processed shots in high resolution) which can be used for portfolios or sedcards. Newcomers are welcome and will be given some coaching. Minors only with written permission from parents. Stylistically, I am interested in all styles except nudes and erotic photography (a model that wants to be taken seriously undresses towards the end of a career, not in the beginning). I also refuse to work with models that are specializing respectively planning to specialize in fields like glamour, nudes, erotic art and similar. Test shootings are not model castings: In such shootings, I will be experimenting with equipment, lighting setups and photographic styles. Also the models are invited to try out new poses and working styles. Ideally, a trial shooting is a learning process for the people on both sides of the camera. Mistakes are allowed and assistance is provided for styling and posing questions. For newcomers between 14 and 20 years with a minimum height of 174cm for females and 180cm for males, an application with a major international modeling agency can be initiated upon request.
