Hello,
I was wondering if you could help me find the appropiatte tool or tools to introduce risk management of an equity portfolio. The question arises because until now the equity portfolio has been managed from a very personal point of view and needs to move to a more professionalized management philosophy. Eventhough the fund has outperformed the index by 55% , we feel that some sort of risk management tool needs to be placed in order to avoid useless volatility that may refrain other institution from joinning the fund.
Thanks.

I'm a regular visitor of this website and have witnessed its remarkable development. It's a valuable information source on performance-risk measurement and analysis. To further enhance the scope of this website, I would suggest that the art-science of manager selection been covered broadly. I think the theme of manager selection and its portfolio management corollary, the mulit-management activity, pose an interesting challenge to performance-risk measurement, mainly in the field of performance attribution analysis.
